Bio:
Heavy Seventies is a Knoxville, Tennessee based cover band that plays turbocharged versions of classic rock and old school metal songs by some of the greatest riff driven bands of the '60s, '70s and '80s. They cover the likes of Kiss, Van Halen, Judas Priest, Aerosmith, Hendrix, ZZ Top, Black Sabbath, UFO, Derringer, Cheap Trick, Johnny Winter and Deep Purple to name a few. Basically the logos you saw sketched on a rocker dudes school notebook in 1980.

Murphy, Jenkins and Stinnett have been pals since they were teenage metalheads back in hard rock's golden era. They have a shared appreciation for all the great forefathers of heavy music and they bring that passion and enthusiasm to the jam room and the stage. The chemistry here is undeniable and the fun level of this power trio is maxed out making for a truly rocking good time. Don’t miss it if they happen to play a venue near you.
